The J&L Group: History

The beginnings of The J&L Group date back to 1984, when James S. Gusso, P.E. and Leonard A. LaSala, P.E. combined their respective experience and expertise to form the full service engineering firm of James & Leonard Engineers, P.C.

By 2000, James & Leonard had evolved into a state-of-the-art engineering firm with clients across the United States. To proficiently manage their national growth and expanding client base, The J&L Group was formulated with their internal operations organized into two distinct operating firms:

	James, LaSala & Associates, LLP, headed by James S.Gusso, P.E., is a state-of-the-art, multimillion dollar, MEP and Civil Engineering design firm.

	J&L Technologies Group, LLC, headed by Kenneth O’Connor, is a full service provider of outside plant telecommunications design services, including conduit provisioning, fiber routing and broadband design of high capacity communications systems, as well as a custom telecom mapping solution (TGIS).

Today, The J&L Group is a premier provider of precision engineering, technology and support services to commercial and municipal clients.
